About

I am Robert Talley, pastor of the Grace Bible Church of Lansing, Michigan. My wife, Dawn, and I have two wonderful children: Phil, who is a talented and funny teenager, and Jadyn, whose bouncing pigtails keep everyone smiling.

Before coming to Michigan, we spent four years in Castleton, Vermont. Even earlier, we spent eleven years in church planting in German-speaking Europe (Munich, the Austrian Alps, and East Berlin) with Baptist Mid-Missions headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio.

I have an inordinate interest in the Civil War (being from Alabama, I’m still in denial) and my wife’s cooking. Not necessarily in that order.

As pastor my objective is to lead a ministry that is striving to evangelize its community and the world, to develop believers into disciples, and disciples into servant leaders. My ultimate goal is that our church brings as many as possible within the community and the church body to faith and growth in Christ resulting in fulfillment in Christ and maturity in Christ as described in Ephesians 4.

Grace Bible Church is located at 1000 South Canal Road between Mount Hope and St. Joe Highways about a mile south of Saginaw Highway.

I’m glad the Lord led me to your blog today-
I especially like your message on Philippians 4-10-23…
I will bookmark your page; there is so much to read, I trust all your messages will be a blessing to me, and all who are called to serve Jesus, The King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
